Frequently, survivors and their children show up at the Safe House with nothing but the clothes on their back. You can support these families escaping intimate partner abuse by providing a few essential items.

Immediate Need: Tony’s Closet

Tony’s Closet is fashioned like a shop for clients to pick up household goods, but all items are free to CORA clients and their children! Purchase an item to add it to the Closet for a client in need.

Note: You do not need to call in advance of purchasing immediate need items. If you’re purchasing items from Amazon, make sure to sign up for Amazon Smile and designate CORA your preferred charity. When you do, CORA receives a small percentage of the total of your order at no cost to you! Learn more about Amazon Smile.

Always Needed: Gift Cards

Gift cards (1)

CORA’s clients can always use clothing, personal care items, and more. Buy donating gift cards, clients can purchase exactly what they need, when they need it.

You can also help survivors by purchasing items, including gift cards, on CORA's Amazon wish list! Items can then be sent to CORA directly and given to clients in need.
