If you want to make a donation but are a little tight on cash, don’t forget that CORA accepts gifts of stock. We work with a Wells Fargo broker who makes the process fast and easy. Simply download the Stock Transfer Form.

Bequest and Legacy Gifts

Ensure what you leave behind is a legacy. After you’ve taken care of your family and friends, leave a portion of your estate to CORA. With a simple sentence you can leave a life-changing legacy! For more information email us or take a look at the Bequest Workbook.

Matching Gifts

Many employers will match the contributions of their employees, some up to three times the amount of the original gift! This is a great way to leverage your donation and help even more people in need. Visit the matching gifts page to see if your employer will match.

Workplace Giving, United Way & State and Federal Campaigns

CORA participates in the local United Way of the Bay Area campaign as well as the State and Federal campaigns. Look for CORA’s listing in the United Way brochure during your company’s workplace giving campaign. You can also write in our name on your pledge form.

Memorial & Honorary Gifts

Remembering and honoring loved ones can take on new meaning when you make a memorial gift to CORA. Send us the name and address of the person being honored and those to whom the gift should be acknowledged. We’ll promptly notify each party of your donation and follow up with a confirmation to you.

When someone is in urgent need of safe shelter to escape domestic violence, “the shelter is full” is not acceptable. That’s why CORA uses the SafeNight app. SafeNight lets you make an immediate donation to pay for a hotel room for a person in need. Visit the SafeNight webpage for more information and to download the app.

Do you run, bike, knit, swim …? Turn your passion into support for those escaping domestic violence with EverydayHero. Visit the EverydayHero webpage for more information on how it works.

Cell Phone Donations

We accept all cell phones, old and new. We program the phones for 911 calls and distribute them to survivors of domestic violence or recycle them, the proceeds of which are invested back into our programs. Contact us at 650-652-0800 x 113 or email us for more information.

Auto Donations

CORA accepts most car donations. Just fill out this easy form and we’ll take it from there.
