What is the CORA Survivor Group & How you can join
Here at CORA, we are forming a group of intimate partner abuse survivors, to raise awareness about domestic violence and promote change within our communities. We believe your voice is essential in creating meaningful change and we would like to invite you to join.
To start, joining would mean allowing us to add you to a list of others as an e-list group. We will use this list for invites when we have agencies like the County or other Foundations who would like to hear from survivors. There are many who want to hear your voice!
Second, we will send invites to this group for a monthly meet up (on Zoom to start). This is a chance in a safe and empowering space for you to come together with other survivors and learn more about how to share your voice in shaping resources. We also plan to bring in free trainings of interest such as around public presenting and sharing personal stories, learning more about aspects of abuse and getting to know each other as a cohort. Your participation in the meetings would be entirely voluntary, and there is no pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with or to attend every session.
If you are interested in joining us or would like more information, please fill out this short form. And please know that your privacy and confidentiality are importance to us.
You are not alone; there is strength in community and your voice can bring change. We hope you will join us.
